3 Ways To Style The Olivia Dress With Palav Desai
Hello from Sunny California everyone! I’m Palav, a self proclaimed dressoholic with an obsession for all things girly. My 9-5 is in Public Health & I try to juggle the rest of my life between my loving husband, my twin toddlers, friends and family, our newly bought home & a somewhat busy blogging career.
I had so much fun styling the Olivia lemon dress. It is a super flattering midi dress with the prettiest lemon print. The fit and flare style featuring a ruched corset style top & a flowy bottom can literally work on any/every body type. Here are 3 ways I styled it.
How to Wear the Olivia Lemon Print Dress
1). Picnic at the park
For this look, I simply paired this darling shade of blush pink with a subtle washed, ripped denim jacket with pearl details to add a fun, girly but also soft, feminine vibe. Add a dependable pair of espadrilles, a flirty handbag and you’re ready to take on those Quiche Lorraines & peach Sangrias in style.
2). Brunch/Drinks With The Ladies
I love dresses that I can take from a single day look to multiple versatile looks. The top of this dress could easily be covered by an off shoulder top to completely transform it into a skirt and blouse look. Also, I am usually cautious with mixing prints together, but when I found this cute off shoulder number with a similar print in my closet, I knew I had to experiment! And to my sheer joy, it totally worked out the way I imagined it. Throw in a bunch of non-statement accessories. And boom. Brunch ready (cue in the mimosas) with the ladies at a rooftop someplace nice!
3). Day Date
To add a simple yet mod look to a printed dress, a blazer works like magic. It cuts down the business of the print & adds a notch of sophistication to it. And that’s exactly what I did here with this third and final look. Especially when you have a color that goes really well with the print, it’s like a match made in heaven! How perfect would this be for a day date with the beau at a fancy restaurant downtown?
